FOLLOWING the death of one of her parents, St Albans author Katy Hogan visited a clairvoyant who gave her a spookily accurate message.
Inspired by the encounter, Katy decided to draw on her experience for her début novel Out of the Darkness.
Published earlier this summer, the tale follows three young women whose lives are bound together when they receive a message from beyond the grave.
